Cyberpunk 2077 is selling for half price in the US for consoles

Cyberpunk 2077 was released just over a month ago, but it’s already being sold at big discounts: Best Buy and Amazon are now offering the game at a 50% discount for just $30.

Other American shops like Walmart have also reduced the price of the game, although not that much.

Such a big price drop for Cyberpunk 2077 in the US goes against CD Projekt’s plans: in September, the studio told investors that the first discounts for the game would appear about a year after release and that they would be negligible.

CD Projekt has come under pressure after the game’s release due to the quality of the console versions of the novelty. Five class action lawsuits have already been filed against the studio, and the Polish authorities have launched an investigation into the promises and plan to remedy the situation.
