Diablo Immortal: Ultimate Beginners Guide

Diablo Immortal is the new and upcoming MMORPG in the Diablo franchise. Mainly Blizzard has made it for the mobile devices Android and iOS but it has a PC beta version available as well which you can pre-load now and will be available to play on 2nd June 2022. This new action RPG set in the Diablo universe also resides with those of Diablo 2 and Diablo 3.

Classes

Diablo Immortal launches with six unique classes that have their main features and main ultimate ability as well. They are unique and it depends on your playstyle, and how you want to continue your journey in the Diablo immortal. Your character class will have a great impact on the PvE and PvP aspects of the game.

Each class has 12 unlockable skills; you can use 5 skills at a time on your character to use in the game. You can unlock the new unlockable skills as you progress and level up in the game.

Here are the brief details of all the available classes to help you get a better in-view to help you choose your character’s class.

Barbarian

Barbarian class has proficiency in melee combat, they have two-handed axes and also different weapons and they are very good for melee combat as a class.

Crusader

Crusader has a Flail and a shield; they also have holy powers they can mix it with their weapons to do a lot of damage as well and are good in blocking attacks as well with their shield.

Demon Hunter

Demon Hunter is a long-ranged class, you have great agility for moving around in a large group of enemies and you can use the pistols to do damage from a long-range as well. Demon Hunter can deal a great amount of damage to a lot of enemies at once.

Necromancer

Necromancer is like a mixed support class; you can summon allies (minions) to help you in fights. You can use magic and cursed spells on your enemies. It also has a wide range of abilities to help you fight from a range as well which has wide distances.

Monk

Monk is a fast-paced class and can do a lot of attack combos and has great dodging abilities as well like dashes. It’s a great class if you’re dealing with a big enemy that is slow and you can use your fast dashes to attack from different angles to defeat them.

Wizard

Wizard has mobility as well teleport skills, which is really helpful in big fights. You can use different magic abilities on your enemies and teleport around to make them a joke and it’s a really good class in terms of mobility.

Gear and Leveling

Leveling in Diablo Immortal is linked with your gear and its level as well. Your character will become stronger with the gear level it’s using and you will find gear throughout the world of Diablo Immortal. You have to manage your inventory in order to carry the gear items and resources. So, if you find an armor or weapon item that has a higher level or is rare you have to keep it as your levels from the previous gear will carry on to your new armor and weapons that you’ve equipped.

If your inventory is full, you can always go to a Blacksmith and you can salvage the items unrequired to get the space in your inventory. Salvaging will give you valuable resources which you can use for upgrading your gear and crafting items. Gems are attached to your gear if your gear is a high level and you like a gear that has other skills more but low level you can pick up that gear and your gear and weapon upgrades will be transferred to the gear you’re using.

Fast Travel

Diablo Immortal has a pretty big and interactive world and map, which can also be very annoying if you’ve to go to places that are very far away. There are a lot of regions you can explore and dungeons for farming and defeating bosses to get rare items. So, with this big of a map traveling is an important part for which the game has the Fast Travel system which can help you go around long distances with ease.

The game has Wrap points which you can find by exploring in different regions and areas, then you can simply open your map and go to the places you’ve discovered using the Wrap points, the fast travel system.

Monster Essence for Bestiary

Main quest in Diablo Immortal is very important as well there are daily bounties that can help you in leveling up and progressing through the game. One of the elements is Monster hunting and you will come across a lot of Monsters in your traveling and exploring throughout the game. When you’re fighting a Monster after you’ve defeated them you will receive their Monster Essence which will give you rewards and it can also give you a permanent boost in your stats. This process in the game is called as Bestiary, you can check Bestiary and you will get all the Monster Essences you’ve collected displayed there and you can check your progress and how you want to pursue the next Monster in Diablo Immortal.

Skill Tree

As in previous Diablo games, in Diablo Immortal skills are an important part of the game and your character. You have to use and learn new skills as you progress in the game. There is a limited number of skills you can equip at a time but there are different skills in a skill tree and you can make your own desired skill tree according to your playstyle. As you level up, your skills rank will also level up in a way having more increased effect. When you will unlock, they will be at a lower rank but it doesn’t mean they’re useless, you can always mix up your skills with your abilities and weapons to make a new playstyle for yourself.

Battle Pass

Like any big MMORPG, Diablo Immortal also has a Battle Pass. The normal Battle Pass is free for all players while the Empowered Battle Pass is paid and it will help players with different rewards to help them in their game. It gives you different materials and resources to boost your character. Battle Pass also rewards with Experience bonuses in-game as well which can help you in leveling up your character. You can purchase the Empowered battle pass for $4.99 and $14.99 for the special variant of the Battle Pass. Battle Pass will give you double the bonuses of the standard game. Battle Pass will also give you access to some special quests that are not available in the normal game as DLC content.
