Fire Emblem Engage has different kinds of Weapons that can only be used by a specific Class Type. Players will get different Weapons as they unlock new characters or by defeating the enemies. Each Weapon has certain Stat Buffs that can be used as an advantage against certain enemies. However, players can also make the weapons stronger for the classes by forging them.
In this guide, we’ll tell you how to Forge Weapons in Fire Emblem Engage.
Where to Forge Weapons
Players will unlock the Forge Weapons mechanic later in the game. After completing the 5th Chapter: Retaking the Castle, players will unlock different NPCs in Somniel Home Base of the Divine Dragon. One of the NPCs will be Smithy who will open a Shop in the Plaza. Players will be able to Forge the weapons of all the characters or units at the Shop of Smithy.
Forging Weapons in Fire Emblem Engage is used to increase the Stats of the Weapons. As players progress through the main story of the game, they will have to forge their weapon to increase the damage and other stats to defeat the high-level enemies. Because the enemies in the late game are much more difficult than in the early game. Players will find them difficult to defeat them with low-stats weapons or early weapons.
The game has the Forging Mechanic which can be accessed at the Smithy Shop but players will be able to forge the weapons through Refine Action. Refine action does the same work as forging where you will increase the stats by spending the money along with the required materials. The process of Forging the Weapon is very simple and you can do that by the following steps.
- Go to the Smithy Shop.
- Press A to view the actions you can do at Smithy’s.
- Select the Refine Action.
- Select the Weapon from your inventory that you want to refine.
- Select the weapon upgrade you want to apply to your selected weapon.
After selecting the upgrade, you will get the selected upgrade with all the buffs on the stats of your selected weapon.
Cost of Forging Weapon
Just like the other actions and upgrades, forging your weapons will also cost you Money along with Materials. However, the cost of Money and Materials will vary on the rarity of the weapon upgrade you are choosing. If you are choosing a single upgrade then it will cost a low amount of money and materials. If you are choosing a high-level upgrade, you will cost thousands of money along with hundreds of materials.
Make sure you have enough materials and money for the upgrade you want to apply to your weapon. All the upgrades that you can apply to your weapon are highlighted and all the others will be dull.
