Halo Infinite: Game duration and all campaign missions

Halo Infinite turns the classic shooter campaign on its head and that also has an impact on the playing time of all missions. Here we show you how much scope you can expect and which chapters you tackle as Master Chief.

Duration of the Halo Infinite campaign

Halo veterans will be a little surprised when they start the campaign. Instead of leading you through the missions and chapters in the classic hose-level manner, in most cases, you can explore an open game world and decide for yourself what to do next. The campaign time is very variable, as the following figures show:

• Main mission focus campaign: 8 to 12 hours depending on the difficulty
• Completion of the campaign with all collectibles (100%): 40 to 50 hours

If you strictly follow the main missions of the campaign, the game duration is around 8 to 12 hours, about the average of all previous Halo campaigns. You can, however, spend a lot of time with Infinite if you complete all of the optional objectives and go hunting for all of the collectibles. Then you are easily busy 40 to 50 hours – a decent playing time!

Even on the “Normal” level of difficulty, the campaign is pretty tough. If you screw up the difficulty, you will of course also spend a few more hours in the missions.

Why Halo Infinite makes a strong comeback, but unfortunately never reached the throne of the sci-fi shooter. Do you just want to play the campaign and experience the story? Then I recommend a “Game Pass” subscription. You should be able to easily accommodate the playing time of 8 to 12 hours within a month. The multiplayer is free-to-play anyway.
