High on Life: How to Upgrade Weapons

High on Life is a first-person story mode game with a lot of action and players get to kill the Alien enemies with Talking Guns. Players will get different types of Talking Guns in the game as they progress through the main story. All the guns have different firing abilities along with some unique abilities that can help you in combat as well as in the environment.

In this guide, we’ll tell you how to upgrade the Weapons in High on Life.

Weapons

High on Life is an action-adventure game with Talking Weapons and players will hold their first talking weapon named “Kenny”. He will tell you the whole situation of aliens trying to take over the Earth and will teleport our house to an Alien City named “Blim City” where we will seek help to save the planet Earth. As players progress through the story, they will get to find new talking weapons with unique abilities. The total number of weapons that you will get in the game is 5 and they are the following.

• Kenny
• Knifey
• Gus
• Sweezy
• Creature

All of these weapons will be your companion in your adventure and they have unique abilities that will let you get through your adventure. Although all of the Weapons have base abilities they can be upgraded.

Upgrading Weapons

If you have beaten the first boss of the game “9-Trog” then you would know that you can buy different abilities for your Bounty Hunter Suit. Well, you can also get upgrades for your weapons as well. Once you start getting more Weapons, the upgrades will start coming to the shopkeeper in the Blim City named “Mr. Keeps”. His shop is on the east side of the town up from the stairs. You can reach it by going to the right side of the house and then up on the road on the left side.

When you enter the shop, you will see different upgrade boxes in the cabins behind the counter. You will have to look at the boxes to see what it is and what weapon it is. You will also see the price of the upgrade as well which will be in Pesos. You can get Pesos by looting the loot boxes, completing bounties, and killing enemies. However, you can easily get 1,000 – 2,000 Pesos easily in a single bounty so, money will not be an issue in the game.

You will have to explore the shop and check different cabins to look for the upgrades of the Weapons that you want. Explore through the upgrades and buy them by holding down the LB button. You will be adding more modes to the weapons that can make their ammo capacity more, or reload fast, etc. that will be very helpful in intense fights, especially against the bosses.
