Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak: Best Early Gunlance Build

The Gunlance weapon has a large lance attached to a cannon that allows you to slash attack with a lance and fire a cannon as well on the monsters. The cannon allows players to fire an exploding stake onto the monster and after the fire, the slashing attacks are enhanced for a certain period of time.

Best Early Gunlance Build

In the build we’ll be going through the Gunlance you want to use for this build, Gear that you want to wear, Decorations, and Skills.

Weapon

The Gunlance that you want to use is Kamura Warrior Gunlance. It has a sharpness of Level Blue. This weapon has a decoration of Jumping Jewel Level 2 and Steadfast Jewel Level 1. It has an attack power of 250 on each hit. The attacks of this weapon will get you through Master Rank 1 & 2.

Gear

The Armor pieces that you want to wear are the following.

For the Head, wear the Hunter’s Helm X armor. You can create this armor with Prized Pelt x1 and Eltalite Ore x2.

For the Torso, wear the Rhenoplos Mail X armor. You can create this armor with Large Herbivore Bone x 1, Monster Toughbone x 2, and Large Herbivore Bone x1.

For the Arm, wear the Rhenoplos Braces X armor. You can create this armor with Large Herbivore Bone x 1, Rhenoplos Scalp x 1, and Crushing Fang x 2.

For the Waist, wear the Rhenoplos Coil X armor. You can create this armor with Large Herbivore Bone x 2, Rhenoplos Scalp x 1, and Eltalite Ore x 3.

For the Leg, wear the Chainmail Pants X armor. You can create this armor with Eltalite Ore x 2 and Sapphiron Ore x 1.

Decorations

You need to put the following jewels on the armor pieces.

• Ironwall Jewel Level 2 on Hunter’s Helm X.
• Wirebug Jewel Level 2 on Rhenoplos Mail X.
• Wirebug Jewel x2 Level 2 on Rhenoplos Braces X.
• Grinder Jewel x2 Level 1 on Chainmail Pants X.

You need to equip the following skills for this build.
