Long Swords are the best weapons for preying on and counterattacking your enemies. These weapons are sharp weapons that can unleash a powerful spirit attack on the enemies. The switch skill of this weapon allows you to unleash a follow-up slash and the power of the slash increases according to the level of the spirit gauge. It also has an attack named Harvest Moon that let you cast out an Ironsilk ring and the counterattacks within this ring will deal extra damage to enemies.

Best Early Long Sword Build

In the build we’ll be going through the Long Sword you want to use for this build, Gear that you want to wear, Decorations, and Skills.

Weapon

The Long Sword that you want to use is Kamura Warrior Rapier. It has a sharpness of Level Blue. It has an attack power of 240 on each hit. The attacks of this weapon will get you through Master Rank 1 & 2.

Gear

The Armor that you want to wear with this weapon is the Hunter X Armor set.

For the Head, wear the Hunter’s Helm X armor. You can create this armor with Prized Pelt x1 and Eltalite Ore x2

For the Torso, wear the Hunter’s Mail X armor. You can create this armor with Velociprey Thickhide x2 and Carbalite Ore x2.

For the Arm, wear the Hunter’s Vambraces X armor. You can create this armor with Jagras Shard x2 and Eltalite Ore x1.

For the Waist, wear the Hunter’s Coil X armor. You can create this armor with Velociprey Shard x2 and Jagras Shard x1.

For the Leg, wear the Hunter’s Greaves X armor. You can create this armor with Prized Pelt x1 and Twisted Stiffbone x2.
