Moonstone Island: Fishing Rod

There are several activities to partake in Moonstone Island that can get you useful items and resources that will help you in your adventure. One of the activities is fishing which will help you catch fish that can be used to increase a great amount of Stamina or can be sold to make a decent amount of money. However, fishing is not possible without its respective tool and in such case, it is a Fishing Rod that you will require.

In this guide, we’ll tell you how to get a Fishing Rod in Moonstone Island.

How to Get a Fishing Rod in Moonstone Island

You can get the Fishing Rod fairly early in the game but you will have to buy it from the Fishing Store for 200 Coins. Once you have reached Moonstone Island, the starting island of the game, you need to make your way to the eastern side of the town to reach a beach area. From there, make your way towards the dockside to come across the fishing store. The fishing store will have a giant golden fish board on top, you cannot miss it.

After reaching the shop, go inside the shop to meet with Tobin, a great fisherwoman of Moonstone Island. If you talk to her for the first time, she will also give you a quest named “Mythical Fish” in which you have to catch a certain fish for her. After accepting the quest, you will get several options from which you need to select the Shop option to browse her shop items.

You will be able to buy the Fishing Rod from her along with the Big Hook and Swift Hook which are used for catching unique fish across the islands but if you want to invest in casual fishing activity then the pre-installed hook on the fishing rod is fine.
