Paleo Pines: How to Get a Flute

Paleo Pines has various tools that players can obtain to unlock access to certain actions. One of the key features of Paleo Pines is taming and befriending various dinosaurs found throughout different biomes on the world map. Taming dinosaurs will allow players to befriend them and give them a new home, which can benefit players in several ways. However, players must first get their hands on the Flute tool to gain the ability to tame dinosaurs.

How to Get a Flute in Paleo Pines

To get the Flute in Paleo Pines, you must progress in the game until you have started Day 3. The first day at your Ranch will be the shortest, as you only have to remove the debris to get to sleep and change to the next day. But on the second day, there are several main tasks that you need to complete before you can change the day. The first and foremost is to feed Lucky and then make your way to the Pebble Plaza to get Basic Tools.

After getting the Basic Tools, Marlo will help you with your Dinosaur Pen at your Ranch. You must make a proper pen at the Ranch to secure the Dinosaurs and increase their happiness. Once you have built a pen for the Dinosaurs, you will be free to sleep to skip to the next day or explore the valley more to discover items for your journal.

At the start of Day 3, a brief cutscene will play in which you will find Lucky digging up the ground. Go to Lucky to get the Flute. Getting the Flute will also start a brief tutorial in which you will be able to play different tunes with the Flute, which are essential for ordering and taming dinosaurs.

• Yoohoo (3 Red Notes): Get the attention of the dinosaur.
• Follow Me (3 Yellow Notes): Order the dinosaur to follow you.
• This is Your Home (3 Blue Notes): Assign a new home to the dinosaur.
• See You Later (3 Purple Notes): Order the dinosaur to stop following you.
