Pokemon Scarlet and Violet: How to Check Your Pokemon’s Friendship

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have many Pokemon and players do keep close Pokemon with the highest levels to themselves because they will be able to take down the high-level Pokemon in the battles. But how do they know if the Pokemon that are with them have a high Friendship Level? Friendship is also important in the game because it can give many advantages if you level up the Friendship Level with Pokemon.

Pokemon’s Friendship

Every Pokemon has a Friendship level which indicates the bonding between the player and the Pokemon. Players can increase the Friendship Level of the Pokemon by interacting with them and washing them. Players can interact and clean them by doing the Picnic activity. The picnic will let out all the Pokemon from the Party Poke Ball and players will be able to interact with them by walking up to them. Players can also clean them with Soap and wash them in the shower. Cleaning the Pokemon will also increase the Friendship level and if you get your Pokemon’s bond stronger with you, they will have a chance to evolve.

Checking Pokemon’s Friendship

Checking your Pokemon’s Friendship is not simpler as it sounds because it sounds like you would be able to see it from the summary but you won’t find any description of Friendship Level. To check the Friendship Level of the Pokemon, you need to meet with a specific NPC in the game. The NPCs in the game have a very useful role because they allow you to do different sorts of things for your Pokemon. One of the things that a specific NPC can do for you is telling you how close your Pokemon is to you.

To find the NPC, you need to go to a town named “Cascarrafa”. This town is on the East side of the Great Crater of Paldea. Players will get to this town while following the Victory Road Path. There is also a Gym Leader in this town that players have to defeat in order to complete the game. Once you have reached the town, you need to go to the center of the town and you’ll see an NPC standing near the big fountain.

The NPC will be wearing green clothes and when you talk to her, she will ask you to select the Pokemon for which you want to know the Friendship Level. Accept and then you’ll get to the menu where you can select one of the Pokemon in the Party. Select the Pokemon and then she’ll tell you about the Friendship of the Pokemon with you. You can get an idea of the Friendship Level of your Pokemon by talking to her and if you have a higher Friendship Level then your Pokemon is close to evolving. If you have a low Friendship Level then she’ll say that you can be friendlier.

You can increase the Friendship with your Pokemon by eating with them, interacting with them, and cleaning them when they get dirty. All of these things can be done in the Picnic section of the menu. So, make sure to have a picnic with your Pokemon to increase their bonding with you.
