Pokemon Scarlet and Violet: Where to Get New Sandwich Recipes

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet also have a food mechanic which is making sandwiches. Previous games of Pokemon also have sandwiches but in the new games, sandwiches got buffs and it gives you a bonus that would be very effective for you. However, players will learn the making of sandwiches in the early game but the question remains where would you find the new recipes for sandwiches?

In this guide, we’ll tell you where you can get the new recipes for Sandwiches in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

Sandwich

Sandwich is the Food that can be eaten by your player and the Pokemon that you have caught to get some buffs for the next hour of your gameplay. The buffs vary on which type of sandwich you eat. Each sandwich has different buffs and encounter buffs that will help you stand strong for longer in the fight against specific Type Pokemon or let you see more specific Type Pokemon in the wild. The rare Pokemon spawn rate is very low so if you eat a sandwich that has a buff of their specific type then you’ll be able to see more of those Pokemon.

But you would have only limited Sandwich recipes in the beginning and for each Pokemon Type and buffs, you do want to get the new recipes so you can make things much easier for yourself.

Getting New Sandwich Recipes

As you’d be introduced to different shops in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, you’ll not see any Food Shop where you can get new recipes for Sandwiches. One of the most useful shops in the game is Delibird Shop from where you can get different ingredients of the sandwiches but not recipes which is very confusing. But there is specifically a shop for sandwiches in the town which is a bit difficult to find because there is no icon of that shop on the map which might get fixed later in the updates.

To find the Shop, you need to head towards the South Bridge of Mesagoza town and you’ll see some shops on the left side of the town. Go down the street and at the start of the street, you’ll see a shop with a Sandwich logo on it. But this shop will not be shown on the map. So, you need to go inside the shop and you’ll see two different NPCs. One of them will be on the counter from where you can get sandwiches for your journey. The other NPC would be on the right side of the counter.

You’ll see a text of “New Sandwiches” in a golden shade. So, go and talk to him to learn new recipes free of cost. This NPC would not charge you for anything and you’ll learn some new recipes. These recipes would be random and when you open up the Picnic basket and start the process of making the sandwiches then you’ll be able to see the Recipes that you’ve learned.

You can return to this NPC at any time and learn new recipes every time so make sure to return to him and learn new recipes for different buffs of character and encounter rate.
