Resident Evil 4 Remake – How to Solve the Swords Puzzle

The Sword Puzzle is one of the main puzzles in the game that players will have to solve. This Puzzle takes place in the Treasury Room of the Castle in the Seventh Chapter of the game. Players will reach the Treasury Room after they have made their way out of the Dungeons area. After leaving the Dungeons, players will have to go up the ladder to reach the Treasury Room in which players will have to place the Swords at the correct Murals to open the door.

In this guide, we’ll tell you how to Solve the Swords Puzzle in the Resident Evil 4 Remake.

Gather Swords from Murals

The Swords puzzle contains 4 Swords in total that players will have to place at the accurate Murals on the wall in front. To get the Swords, go to each Mural and you will get a sword that will be saved in your inventory. You will obtain 3 swords from 4 murals because one of the murals will be missing a sword. Now, if you look to the left side of the same room, you will see another closed door, and behind that locked door, lies the last sword.

If you look at the door, you will see three symbols, Hawk, Deer, and Snake. Look to the left side of the locked door and you will see a chain. Interact with the chain to ring the gong and the Deer symbol will light up. Now, look through the gap between the locked door and shoot the Hawk Gong and the Snake Gong to light them up. If you look through the right side of the door, you will see both of them. Shoot them one by one to open the door and go ahead to retrieve the last sword.

Place the Swords to Solve the Puzzle

Once you have obtained all four Swords, place them in the following order from the Left Mural to the Right Mural on the wall.

• Iron Sword
• Gold Sword
• Bloodied Sword
• Rusted Sword

By placing the Swords correctly, the Treasury Room’s door will be unlocked and you will be able to make your way ahead.
