Some netizens reported that the Best Buy store delivered their pre-ordered “collectibles” Cyberpunk 2077 ahead of time — a week before the release. On Reddit and on Twitter, the first photos of copies of the game from its owners began to appear.
A streamer with the nickname Cohh Carnage also announced that he received his copy, but stressed that he was not going to release any content on the game before it was officially released.
Shortly after, CD Projekt RED issued an official statement banning any video content on Cyberpunk 2077, which will cease to apply the day before the RPG is released — at 14: 00 Moscow time on December 9.
The developers noted that they want players to be able to avoid spoilers and not spoil the experience of the game. All content, including streams and lets plays, that appears on the network before the ban is lifted, is going to be deleted. There are no restrictions on text impressions for players.
The release of Cyberpunk 2077 is scheduled for December 10 — the game will be released on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Google Stadia.
