Cooking Food in Sons of the Forest

Once you have learned how to get food in Sons of the Forest, you will have to learn how to cook the food to make it more nutritious so it can finish your hunger problem. In order to cook the food, you will have to make fire for the food. Making the normal fire will also work for cooking food.

Once you have made the fire, follow the following steps to cook food.

  • Hold down the E Button to interact with the Fire and your character will open inventory and you will see the available food.
  • Now, you need to select the food that you want cook. You can cook all different types of food at a time so, select the food from the inventory by clicking on them.
  • After placing the food on the fire, you will have to wait for a few moments until the food has changed its color.
  • Make sure to eat it when it turns brown because if you leave it on the fire for too long it will turn black which will be useless.
