Sons of the Forest: How to Get the Multi-Trap Blueprint

The recent patches of Sons of the Forest have added several new items including blueprints to craft useful items that will help players secure their base efficiently. One of the new blueprints that were added in patch 13 was the Multi-Trap that can be found inside a cave west of the snowy mountain. The Multi-Trap is one of the most effective traps in the game as it can take out multiple cannibals and mutants at once.

However, with the release of the full version (v1.0) of the game, the location of the Multi-Trap has been changed, and a lot of players having trouble finding it. This guide will walk you through how you can get the Multi-Trap to secure your base in Sons of the Forest.

Where to Find Multi-Trap in Sons of the Forest

The new location of the Multi-Trap blueprint is located inside a small cave on the southwest side of the island. It is located close to the Teleporter blueprint, Night Vision Goggles, and Maintenance Bunker B. If you have found the Night Vision Goggles or the teleporter blueprint, just make your way north of the campsite to reach an entrance of the cave. The exact location is shown in the image below.

Upon reaching the required cave entrance on the southwest side of the island, make your way inside the cave and you will come up on a rope. Interact with it to descend to reach an abandoned area with multiple rooms. Go to the room on the right side as you come down and you will find the Multi-Trap blueprint placed on the table.

Once you have the blueprint, you can leave the cave by going back up from the rope. To use the Multi-Trap, you will first have to build it by using all the required materials for it which are the following.

  • 2x Skulls
  • 15x Bones
  • 2x Ropes
  • 2x Vodka Bottles
  • 4x Wire
  • 1x Golf Cart Battery
  • 14x Sticks
  • 6x Rocks
  • 3x Leaves

After gathering all the required materials, contribute them to the structure to finish building it. If any enemy walks into the trap, it will burn them and kill them instantly by closing. However, you will have to reset the trap by interacting with it every time when an enemy gets killed by it.
