Spear

One of the early weapons that players can get in Sons of the Forest is a Spear. Spear can be used to get food for yourself as well as some other materials so, it would be useful to craft it as early as possible because you cannot survive without food for much longer.

In this guide, we’ll tell you how to craft Spear in Sons of the Forest.

Gather Materials for Spear

Spear is one of the early weapons that players can craft by using the materials. It is not a complicated weapon to craft as it requires the following materials.

  • 2x Sticks
  • Utility Knife
  • 1x Duct Tape

All of these materials can be found at the beginning stage of the game. You will already have the Utility Knife in your Inventory, a Blue Knife. Sticks can be found anywhere in the forest. If you are starting from the beach then you will be able to find a couple of sticks from the beach and if you are starting from the forest then you can chop down trees to get sticks.

All you need is two sticks and then you need to get Duct Tape. Duct Tape can be found in the Boxes near the wreckage. Near your crashing point, you will see different color of boxes which will hold meds, flares, Tarp, drink, food, and Duct Tape. The items might depend on the difficulty you are playing on but you will get Duct Tape even on the Hard Difficulty Setting.
