Sons of the Forest is the sequel of a very famous survival game “The Forest”. It is also a survival and horror game which let players explore the island filled with different types of horrors. Players will have to survive by gathering the materials and making the things that will help them survive and progress ahead in the main story. However, the game does not have many auto-save points so most of the time players will have to manually save their progress because the things that you collect and make should be kept safe.

Saving Game Manually

If you have played the original game “The Forest” then you would have remembered that there is no Save Game option in the main menu of that game. It is also the same with the sequel and you will not see any save game option in the main menu of the Sons of the Forest. You will have to make a tent in order to save game manually.

Game can only be saved manually at a resting point just like in the original game. You will have to make a tent, a shelter, or a bed in order to save the game manually. You will be able to make a tent easily at the start of the game because you will find all the required materials for the tent in the wreckage area.

After you have made the tent on the place you like, you will have to interact with the tent to save your game. You need to hold the E Button on the tent and it will open the save menu. Now, all you have to do is select the profile to save the game.

So, as you progress ahead in the game, you will be discovering new areas so, you will have to make tents or bed in those areas to save game as well as sleep.
