The Quarry: Chapter 7 (The Past Behind Us) – All Choices & Paths

The group has met a person that is supposed to be at camp with them but she didn’t show up before. The group will know her side of the story in this chapter. In this guide, we’ll tell you all Choices & Paths in Chapter 7.

All Choices & Paths in Chapter 7

The chapter starts off with Laura telling everybody her story. While going through the story of Laura, we’ll get an interruption in which we get to Call Out. Press the action button to call out. It doesn’t really matter if you Don’t call out on this point. Laura will fade away and open her eyes in the interrogation room. The policeman will ask her questions. Laura will get two options.

1- Compliant

Laura Kearny.

2- Angry

Eat Shit.

The policeman continues the investigation.

1- Angry

I’m not saying shit.

2- Compliant

Fine.

Laura will read the badge of the policeman and get two options.

1- Annoyed

That’s Sheriff’s badge doesn’t mean a lot.

2- Intrigued

Okay, Sheriff.

The policeman will get angry at Laura. Laura will get two options.

1- Pleading

Please stop trying to intimidate me.

2- Angry

Stop fucking around.

The policeman will take you back to the cell and as he is about to handcuff us again, we’ll get an interruption in which we can lash out. But it wouldn’t make any difference. He’ll still lock us up. Laura will see Max in another cell as well. Laura will get two options.

1- Concerned

Laura will ask Max if he is okay.

2- Dismissive

Laura will tell Max that screaming will not help her.

The conversation still goes on.

1- Disappointed

I was hoping you might know.

2- Suspicious

He wanted me to confess.

The policeman will come to the cell area. Laura will get two options.

1- Sarcastic

Don’t need your permission.

2- Compliant

Sorry, sir.

The cop will take max to the investigation room. Laura will get two options.

1- Worried

Leave him alone.

2- Stern

Calm down, Max.

After that, you’ll get the control of Laura and find some collectibles in the prison cell. After that, a cutscene will start in which Laura will get to talk with the cop again. Laura will get two options.

1- Fearful

We’ll answer your questions.

2- Aggressive

Laura will talk to Max, we’ll get two options.

1- Serious

Laura will continue the conversation.

While telling the story, the cutscene switches back to the present time, and Laura will get two options.

1- Aggressive

We’ll get back to the story of Laura, Max will hit Laura with a plan and Laura will have to choose between two options.

1-Reckless

We’ve got to escape

2- Curious

What if we get on his good side?

The conversation continues between Laura and Max.

1- Resigned

Escape is the only way

2- Optimistic

The cop will come in the cell area and Laura will get two options.

1- Understanding

We’ll get an interruption in which we get to call for help. Use the action button to call for help or pass the time not calling for help. Max will not be feeling well and Laura will get two options.

1- Clinical

We’ll get the control of Laura again and we can now go to the main area of the police station. Go there and find the collectibles and a Syringe. Come back to the cell and interact with the wall and hide the syringe. When we interact with the bed, we’ll get two options.

The cop will come into the cell and wake Laura up. He’ll ask her why didn’t she run from Max. Laura will have two options.

1- Honest

I won’t leave Max

2- Determined

We’ve got unfinished business

The Cop will talk to Laura about his family. Laura will get two options.

1- Curious

How is your family involved?

2- Confident

Let’s end it

We’ll get an interruption in which we get the option to take the gun. Press the action button to take the gun. But it is better not to take the gun. After that Laura will get two options.

1- Confused

Why didn’t you kill it?

2- Concerned

Am I infected?

Conversation continues.

1- Cynical

I don’t believe you

2- Encouraging

So, what’s the plan?

Max will talk to Laura when the Cop leaves. Laura will get two options.

1- Resigned

I believe him

2- Apprehensive

I’m not sure

Max will apologize to Laura for hitting her eye. Laura will get two options.

1- Empathetic

That wasn’t you

2- Resigned

It’s not like you’re in control

We’ll get a QTE in which You’ll catch the falling cup. You need to press the Up Cursor key to catch the cup. If you drop the cup, they will hear you. After that, the cop will come into our cell to check on us and you’ll get the QTE to stab the policeman with the syringe. You need to press the Left Cursor button to stab the policeman. If you haven’t hidden the syringe, you’ll get the option to take the cop’s gun and you’ll get an interruption in which there’ll be an option to shoot the gun. If you shoot the gun then the policeman will get shot but not die and he will automatically kill Laura in Chapter 9.

Max will talk about finally being free, Laura will get two options.
