Finding the perfect time will require you to track the persons living in the house and monitor their route. All persons have a different route and a time when their house is empty and it is probably the best time to show off your thieving skills. However, it can take a while before the person leaves the house so, why don’t come at a specific time without waiting?

How to Pass Time in Thief Simulator 2

There are two primary ways through which you can pass time in Thief Simulator 2. You can either sleep at your Hideout or you can rest in your car at the nearest parking lot. You can reach the hideout by driving out of the area and then selecting the Hideout destination. From there, go to the last room on the left side to reach the bed and then interact with it to get the Pass Time option. Set the time from the bar and then select the sleep option to start passing time.

If you want to pass the time while staying close to your objective then you can choose to rest in your car. First, you will have to drive your car to any Parking Lot and then hit the Spacebar Key to initiate the Pass Time mechanic. Now, set the time from the bar and then select the sleep option to pass the time.

The best way to pass time is by resting in your car because most of the tenants have a low window to leave the house which compresses the time even further. Passing time near to tenant’s place will allow you to quickly complete your objective as soon as the tenant leaves the house or if you want to be sneaky then just go to the tenant’s house by passing time until night to steal the items quietly.
