Tower of Fantasy: How to use Gifts to unlock Traits

Tower of Fantasy is an MMORPG game and it has a very in-depth character creation system. We have the possibility to increase our character’s strength by using Traits. There is also a gifting system in Tower of Fantasy which is similar to that of Lost Ark but instead of NPCs, it is for your playable characters.

In this guide, we are going to cover how we can unlock Traits for our characters.

How Does Traits Work

Traits are linked with your characters and they are used to gain strength in your characters. You have to upgrade your character’s relations by promoting your characters by using gifts. You can check the traits in the menu section of your character by going to the sub-menu Simulacrum.

You have to go into the menu Simulacrum and you’ve to select the character and then you have to select the Conscious tab, this will tell you all the information about your character. This will tell you how they sound like their voice and what gifts the characters like. Every character has different favorite gifts according to their Character Conscious which you can check by going into the Conscious tab. When we give a gift to characters to promote them, we will get points that unlock different items and rewards.

Promotion Points

The points we get when we promote the characters by giving them gifts are called the Promotion points. These points are used to unlock different items for characters. You can unlock a trait for your character when you reach 1200 Promotion Points. Also, at 4000 points you will unlock another trait for the character. You have to go to the Simulacrum tab in the Characters menu and select Use Simulacrum Trait to equip the trait you’ve unlocked by using promotion points. The trait will not require you to use a certain skin but you can use it as it might have some extra quality.
