Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty – How to Level Up

Leveling Up your character in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is essential to increase the stats of your character. Players will not be able to increase the stats without leveling up their character so, if you are stuck on a boss and you are not dealing much damage or dying quickly then you might not be on the capable level to defeat that boss.

How to Level Up in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty

Players can increase their character’s stats at the Battle Flag checkpoint by resting at it. When you rest at the raised battle flag, you will get the option of “Level Up”. By accessing the Level Up option, you will see five different virtues. Each Virtue is set to increase specific stats of your character as well as give you a spell point for the specific Wizardry.

In order to level up a virtue, you will be required to have a specific amount of Genuine Qi. You cannot level up until you have specific amount. In order to know when you have the required amount of Genuine Qi to level up, look at the bottom left of the screen and if you see your Genuine Qis are golden, it means you are eligible for leveling up your character.

Use Virtues to Level Up

Virtues play an important role defining your character build and if you are going for a specific build, you will have to level up your character in that same virtue as well to get the most of the advantages. There are five virtues in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty and each one of them will increase the specific stats as well as allow you a spell point.

• Wood Virtue: Affects HP and the amount of Spirit lost when attacked.
• Fire Virtue: Affects the amount of Spirit gained when attacking, and the amount of Spirit consumed by Martial Arts.
• Earth Virtue: Affects the equipment weight limit and the amount of Spirit gained when deflecting an attack.
• Metal Virtue: Affects the duration that a high level of Spirit can be maintained for, and the Spirit consumed by Wizardry Spells.
• Water Virtue: Affects how easily enemies can detect you and the amount of Spirit consumed when deflecting.

You will have to select the virtue in which you want to level up and select the invest option to raise the level to increase particular stats. However, you can also undo your investment in that virtue at any time. If you want to change your build then you can undo the levels from a virtue and invest them into the one you want.
