Tower of Fantasy: How to Open Password Chests

In Tower of Fantasy, there are two types of chests that you can find and one of them is the Supply Pod Chest which can only be opened only once and you won’t be able to get it again but there is another type of chest that you can open to get EXP and other goods.

In this guide, we’ll tell you how to open Password Chests in Tower of Fantasy.

Password Chest

While roaming and exploring the planet Aida, you’ll stumble upon the Passwords Chests in different places. These chests are happened to respawn in the world in various areas and there are two methods to open this chest. When you go close to the chest, you’ll see the type of the chest (Type I, Type II, or Type III) and when you interact with it, a decryption mechanism will start and you’ll have to choose whether you want to decipher the chest Perfectly or Forcefully.

Perfect Decipher

In order to open the chest with the perfect decipher, you’ll be needing a respective Type of chip that can be earned from the Bounty Missions and Weekly Activity Missions. If you have the chip for the chest then use it to open the chest and by using the chest, you’ll gain more EXP and more loot from the chest.

Forced Decipher

If you choose the Forced Decipher option while interacting with the chest, you’ll open the chest by force but you’ll gain less EXP and loot than the Perfect Cipher.

If you don’t have the respective type of chip then you can use the forced decipher method to open the chest but if you have the chip then use the perfect decipher method because it is more efficient.
