Blacktail: How to Craft Items

Blacktail is a story-mode adventure game that covers the story of the infamous Witch in the Woods name “Yaga”. Players will get to play Yaga in the game who is in search of her sister Zora and come to find her True Nature as the story progresses. The game sets in a Black Forest so there are a lot of things that you can do and one of the main things to survive in the forest is to craft needed items.

In this guide, we’ll tell you how to craft items in Blacktail.

Crafting Items

Crafting is one of the main mechanics of the game that will let players craft the items of need in the journey of Yaga. The Black Forest is well alive and will interact with Yaga depending on her nature so if Yaga is choosing the Dark Path, she will face many different types of difficulties. On the other hand, if Yaga is choosing the Light Path, she will face fewer difficulties in the forest. However, the forest is filled with deadly creatures that will hunt down Yaga as she progresses in the story.

The game offers a quick crafting mechanic in the game which will allow players to craft at any time and at any place. It will not require them to go to a certain place or own a certain workstation to craft the items. At the start of the game, you will be able to craft a couple of items in your inventory. One is simple arrows and the other is Antidote. Both of them require certain resources that can be found in the Black Forest.

To craft a certain item, open the inventory by pressing the Tab key and select the item that you want to craft. It will show you the required resources needed to craft the item and the number of resources that you currently have. You will get two options for crafting the item. One option will be to craft a single piece and the other option will be to craft a maximum piece. For example, you can craft a single arrow by pressing the Left-Click or you can craft a maximum number of arrows at once by pressing the Right-Click.

Finding Resources

There are many different types of resources that players can find in the Black Forest which will be used in for crafting as well as to brew potions to increase Skills. As you go through the different areas of Black Forest, make sure to explore the areas to find the resources it has to offer. Maybe you won’t find it in the next area so, explore the area and then move on to the next area. Keeping the resources with yourself will help you a lot during the adventure.
