CD Projekt RED: Cyberpunk 2077 has reached a satisfactory level of quality

The PS4 version of Cyberpunk 2077 has been removed from the PS Store and we don’t know what will happen to the Xbox One version.

The PC version is a real game, worthy of what we expected from CD Projekt after masterpieces such as The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt. But the reality on PS4 and Xbox One is very different.

Yesterday we told you that Sony and Microsoft authorized refunds for these versions of Cyberpunk 2077 and this morning we learned that Sony removed the PS4 version from the PS Store, a decision taken in consensus with CD Projekt due to bad criticism and complaints.

This of course had an economic impact on the Polish company, which saw the value of its shares fall by 34%, but this was not the only financial setback. The founders of CD Projekt have lost a third of their assets, valued at some 3 billion dollars.

In other words, CD Projekt has lost about a billion dollars after the disastrous launch of Cyberpunk 2077 on PS4 and Xbox One, despite the PC version being a success, and after the huge furor with the title in countries like China.

These CD Projekt RED founders are currently the richest Polish citizens in the world, but they face a tough fight to regain the trust of users; This loss of reputation is accompanied by fewer sales, and therefore less revenue.

The creators of The Witcher 3 promise to bring back the PS4 version of Cyberpunk 2077 to the PS Store and they have said so in the official statement, which they have shared on their official Twitter account.

But … what about the Xbox One version? Well, for the moment, CD Projekt does not consider eliminating it from the Microsoft Store and assures that they have contacted those in Redmond and they do not consider it necessary yet.

One reason Cyberpunk 2077 is still present in the Xbox store is that PlayStation’s return policies are more stringent than Microsoft’s, which is why in some cases return operations were not completed with the PS4 version.
