Cyberpunk 2077 is “a different game” after the console update, says CD Projekt

Cyberpunk 2077 is selling for half price in the US for consoles

This, perhaps, is what was needed to clear the doubts about the performance of the game on consoles.

Cyberpunk 2077 will arrive on December 10th, which means only two days left, and although we have already offered you our analysis of the CD Projekt game, there will still be things to discover. And that is precisely the patch of day one which will update the game to fix bugs and improve its stability, confirms one of its developers.

In our analysis, we commented on the existence of bugs and various minor flaws that exist in the game, although “none of them have been too serious nor have they broken the immersion in the cyberpunk world”. In a conversation, Fabian Mario Döhla from CD Projekt, says that “many problems found in the analysis (and reported) have already been solved, [and] some more are part of the day one patch”.

Döhla himself says that Cyberpunk 2077 is “a different game” after the console update so this update is definitely the one that is ready for the day one patch. Curiously, if you remember well the last delay that the game saw was caused a little by this same update.

However, 10 December is already the definitive date for the game and although many players have already, and are receiving their copies of the game in advance of that day, everything will improve. Also, let’s remember that they still have a system in place whereby nothing can be uploaded to the networks until December 9th at 00:00.

“When the settings are too high for your PC, the game starts to lack content to display and begins to fail (animations, audio, lip-sync, objects). If you adjust all that, it will go very smoothly,” said Döhla. It’s normal for players to be concerned that after so many years and delays, they don’t want to miss a big game release.

Ready for Cyberpunk 2077? Night City will be waiting from December 10th on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Stadia. According to analysts, Cyberpunk 2077 will sell nearly 30 million copies in a year.

I enjoy playing games, and gaming is a passion of mine. Among my favorite games are Tears of the Kingdom, GTA, and Cyberpunk.
