Cyberpunk 2077 update 1.06 available: goodbye to the 8MB game limit and other improvements

Of course, this update will not fix the games, it will only serve to put the size limitation that there was.
CD Projekt has decided to cheer us up a bit this December 24 , since it has released a new update for Cyberpunk 2077 . Although this is a minor update, since it doesn’t put an end to as many bugs and errors as the others have, it does address some important and annoying issues that have come up in players recently.
Specifically, one of them is the one that we talked about last Sunday , since the saved games could become corrupted and be unrecoverable after going over 8 MB . CD Projekt’s recommendation was to load a previous game and try not to exceed that limit with more items ; although now that limit has been removed .
Missions
Dum Dum will no longer be lost from the entrance to Totentanz during the Second Conflict.
Console specific
Improved stability and memory management, resulting in fewer unexpected shutdowns.
As for the specific part of the PC, it is the one related to these saved games and their limit. The 8MB size limitation for save games has been removed, so now PC players need not fear that it will be exceeded and their save file cannot be loaded, thus losing that chunk or the entire game.
Of course, it should be borne in mind that this only solves the problem of size to avoid future troubles, which means that the games that already suffered from this will not be able to recover.
That’s all for now, but we’ll have to wait for future patches to see what else they have planned from CD Projekt RED.
