Dead Space: Where to Find Data Board & How to Install It

Dead Space has a lot of different puzzles in the game that players will have to solve in order to progress through the game. In the first chapter: New Arrivals, players will have to get the Tram running again for which they will be required to replace the Damaged Tram with another one and find the Data Board and Install it in the main circuit of the Tram so they can go ahead in the USG Ishimura.

In this guide, we tell you how to replace the Damaged Tram in Dead Space.

Finding the Data Board

You need to go to the Maintenance Bay to get the Data Board. Go back to the Tram Control and go to the Cargo and Baggage Hall. Go to the end of the hall and you will get to the circuit breaker from where you can open the Maintenance Bay door. However, you can also open the Cargo Hall Storage to find some loot that will help you.

Open the Maintenance Bay and then use the Locator and go along the path to reach the elevator. Use the elevator to go up and make your way to another circuit breaker. Power up the Maintenance Room and Elevator. Now, make your way to the Maintenance Room but be careful because it will be darker and a lot more Necromorphs.

Go to the Maintenance Room and you will find the Data Board inside the room. There will also be a Bench that can be used to upgrade your weapons or suit. Make sure to grab the Node from a box on the wall and then you will be able to upgrade the weapon or suit.

Installing the Data Board

Once you have obtained the Data Board from the Maintenance Room, you need to go back to the Tram Control Room. You will have to go back to the Cargo and Baggage Hall to get to the Tram Control Room. You can also use the Locator to see the path back to the Tram Control Room.

Once you have reached the Tram Control Room, you need to interact with the Tram Main Circuit Board Panel in the room. Interacting with it will install the Data Board on Tram Mai Circuit Board and you will be able to call the Tram that you replaced with the Damaged one.
