Dungeons 4: How to Set Up A Workshop
Keeping your gold veins and settlement safe inside the dungeon is crucial as several dwarves will find their way to mine into your dungeon. You need to keep your creatures and place traps around the dungeon to eliminate the trespassers. Traps will slow down the trespassers as they walk over and through the traps but you must have the resources for placing down the deadly traps. The main required resource for building and placing the traps is Toolboxes which are only obtained from a Workshop.
In this guide, we’ll go over how to set up a Workshop in Dungeons 4.
How to Set Up a Workshop in Dungeons 4
The Workshop is one of the rooms that you can build within your dungeon that can be used to place down Create-O-Map machines to get Toolboxes. As Toolboxes are consumed with building and placing every possible trap in the game, it cannot be done without setting up a Workshop. To build a Workshop in Dungeons 4, you have to at least build a 3×3 tiles room in the dungeon and place down the Workshop Construction because 1x Create-O-Map machine requires 3×3 Workshop Tiles to be placed upon. You can build a big workshop room to fit more Create-O-Map machines at the cost of more Gold.
The Workshop Construction is unlocked by researching Dungeon Level 2 from the Research Menu. It will cost 300 Gold to unlock Level 2 of the Dungeon unlocking various types of rooms and traps including the Workshop. After that, you need to research Level 1 of Workshop which will cost you 500 Gold. Once you have unlocked the Workshop, open the Construction Menu. Select the Workshop Construction, and place them over the tiles that you built.
Wait for the Snots to build the Workshop and once they have finished building the Workshop room, you will be able to place down the machines and assign Snots to the machine to produce and gather Toolboxes which then can be used to place traps around the dungeon.
