Hi-Fi Rush: How to Perfectly Sync Attacks

Hi-Fi Rush is an Action-Adventure game in which players will be able to attack enemies with a beat of the music. The main protagonist of the game has his music player bumped into his chest. It is playing music and giving his robotic arm some powers to attack enemies according to the beat of the music. Players will be able to sync the attacks with the beat to deal extra damage to the enemies.

In this guide, we’ll tell you how to perfectly Sync Attacks with Beats in Hi-Fi Rush.

Chai’s Attacks

The main protagonist, Chai has two main attacks. Light Attacks and Heavy Attacks. His Robotic Arm will give him a rod that can magnetize gear parts around Chai to turn the rod into a Rockstar Guitar. Hitting the Light Attacks and Heavy Attacks on the enemies will generate a sound that can be synced with the beat playing in the background to get bonus damage on the enemies.

Light Attacks Sync

Light Attack is initiated by pressing the X Button and the main thing to remember about syncing the light attack with the beat is that the Light Attack takes 1 Beat to land. Meaning, if you hit a combo of 5x Light Attack, it should be according to 5 beats in total, and on each perfect beat, you will deal bonus damage to enemies and get a higher score.

Light Attacks Sync

To get the perfect combo, you will have to hit the combo according to the beat playing in the background. If you do the light attack too fast, it will not count as the sync and you will deal normal damage. You will have to press the X Button on the time of the beat and by pressing the X Button on every beat, you will get a perfect sync and deal bonus damage to the enemies.

Heavy Attacks Sync

Heavy Attack is initiated by pressing the Y Button and the main thing to remember about syncing the Heavy Attack with the beat is that the Heavy Attack takes 2 Beats to land. Meaning, after landing a heavy attack, you need to skip the next beat and then attack a heavy attack on the next beat. The easiest way to remember is that just skip one beat after each heavy attack to sync the attacks perfectly with a beat to deal bonus damage to the enemies.

Light Attacks Sync

If you hit the Heavy Attack too early, it will not be synced and it will deal normal damage to the enemies. You will have to listen to the beat playing in the background to get the perfect sync on your Heavy Attacks.

I enjoy playing games, and gaming is a passion of mine. Among my favorite games are Tears of the Kingdom, GTA, and Cyberpunk.
