Like A Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name offers two different fighting stances for players to experience a new combat style for Kazuma Kiryu. Kazuma Kiryu takes the role of an Agent named Joryu as he forgot his true identity. The agent personality of Kazuma Kiryu allows him to step into an Agent Stance that allows him to tackle multiple enemies with ease by utilizing various gadgets. As players progress into the story, they will get the access to classic yakuza style allowing them to tackle the heavy enemies. However, players must know how to switch between stances to tackle every kind of enemy with ease.

How to Change Fighting Stance in Like A Dragon Gaiden
The first Agent Stance is unlocked right from the beginning of the game and players have to keep fighting in this stance until they have progressed halfway through the first chapter of the main story. After progressing into the first chapter, Kazuma Kiryu will get access to Yakuza Stance allowing them to fight in classic Yakuza style and switch between the stances at any time throughout the adventure.
To change fighting stances between Agent and Yakuza, players need to press the Down Button on the D-Pad. It will immediately change the stance of Kazuma along with all the attack patterns and Heat Actions.
When to Use Agent Stance
Agent Stance is best for tackling multiple enemies due to the use of gadgets. The gadgets will allow you to create space among enemies as well as dismantle them of any weapon. It will allow you to move quickly and perform light attack combos quicker.
When to Use Yakuza Stance
Yakuza Stance is best for dealing with heavy and brute enemies. The block stance of heavy enemies can only be broken with heavy attacks that Kazuma can perform in the Yakuza stance. Make sure to utilize the heavy combos whenever encountering brute enemies.
