Lords of the Fallen: How to Recover Soulflay Charges

Using the Soulflay action will consume a Soulflay Charge on each usage and once all the Soulflay Charges are consumed, you will be required to recover the charges before you get to use the action again. As the Soulflay Charges do not replenish on their own, you must learn the procedure to recover them.

How to Recover Soulflay Charges in Lords of the Fallen

Soulflay is one of the actions that you can perform with your Umbral Lantern to expose the soul of enemies or clear out a path in the Umbral World. It is one of the key actions of your Umbral Lantern and you have to use it quite often to progress ahead. You will start with 1 Soulflay Charge only and have to recover it using Siphon. Siphon will allow you to consume the Umbral Energy of enemies and blisters to recover Soulflay Charge.

To Siphon enemies or the blisters, you need to equip the Umbral Lantern by pressing the Down button on the D-Pad and holding the LT/L2 button. Once equipped, press the RS/R3 button to lock on to the enemy/target and press the RB/R1 button to Siphon. The lantern will consume the energy and it will take a few blisters’ energy before the Soulflay Charge is fully recovered.  

Blisters are easy to siphon as well as easier to locate whereas, the enemies are harder to siphon as they can attack while you are in the siphoning stance.
