Marvel’s Spider-Man 2: How to Change Suits

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 offers everything in a larger quantity than the previous titles. From the missions to side activities to ruthless enemies and bosses, everything is far greater and ready to be explored by the players. One of the most favorite features for a lot of fans is the Suits and Insomniac has just nailed it by offering 70 suits in total, 35 for each Spider-Man (Peter Parker and Miles Morales) and a lot of players might be looking to how to change the suits right away when they launch it.

In this guide, we’ll tell you how to change suits in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.

How to Unlock Suits in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2

Changing the Suits for both Peter and Miles can be done through the Suits tab in the main menu accessed by pressing the touchpad but it does require progression in the main story. The Suits mechanic is not readily available from the start of the game and players will have to complete the ‘Show Me New York’ main mission to unlock it. Fortunately, this mission is not far into the main story as it can be played at the starting hour of the game.

Once you have completed the Prologue of the game and have taken down the Sandman, you will get to play as Peter to complete this mission. At the end of the mission, you need to find the stash of Peter’s Advanced Suit 2.0 which will lead to unlocking the Suit mechanic. Upon finding the suit, you will be taken to the Suit Tab where you will get to craft the Advanced Suit 2.0 by using 1x City Token.

However, for the later suits, you will be required of Tech Parts and Rare Tech Parts along with City Tokens to craft and unlock them. All of these resources are earned by completing the various side activities for both of the protagonists. Make sure to switch between the characters to complete their side activities to earn enough resources to craft more suits.

How to Change Suits in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2

As both protagonists have separate suits, you will have to change to either Peter or Miles within the Suits Tab by pressing L2 or R2 to see which suits you can unlock for both. If you have the required resources for any suit, select it and hold the Square button to craft it to unlock it. It will unlock all four Styles for the Suit you crafted and you will get to select one of the styles you want to equip for the suit. The styles are different colors but they do give a unique look to the suit so, make your choice accordingly, and worry not you can change the style whenever you want by pressing the X button again on the suit you have currently equipped.

After equipping a style for a newly crafted suit, close the menu to swing through NYC with your new suit.
