Marvel’s Spider-Man 2: How to Unlock Skills
Skills play a crucial role in enhancing the potential of both Spider-Men by unlocking newer abilities that can be used in the arsenal of respective Spider-Man to tackle the enemies. Unlike the standalone versions of previous Spider-Man games where you get to play as a single protagonist, you will get to play as both Spider-Men in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and unlock skills for each Spider-Man in their respective Skill Tree. Both Spider-Men have their own set of unique skills which are unique to them but there are also shared skills that can be enhanced for both at the same time.
In this guide, we’ll tell you how to unlock skills in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.
How to Unlock Skills in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2
Unlocking Skills in New Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 game requires Skill Points which are earned by leveling up. Each level up will grant you 1 skill point which you can spend in three different levels of Skill Tree. The Skill Tree in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is similar to the previous installments where you get to unlock powerful skills by unlocking previous skills tied to the same branch of the skill tree. However, there is more room to unlock skills in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 as there are three different levels of Skill Tree available for you to spend Skill Points.
The first level of Skill Tree allows you to unlock skills for Peter Parker which you will get to use whenever you play as Peter Parker. In the second level of Skill Tree, you will get to unlock skills for Miles Morales and the final level of Skill Tree has a shared Skill Tree among both Spider-Men which allows you to unlock skills for both protagonists at the same time. You can change between the levels of Skill Tree by pressing the L2/R2 button.
The standalone Skill Tree for both of the protagonists has skills that are unique to the characters and the shared Skill Tree offers several skills for Combat and Traversal allowing both protagonists to enhance their potential at the same time. The Shared Skill Tree holds some of the best skills available for both of the protagonists as they share these skills and we recommend you first start spending Skill Points in both the Traversal and Combat section of the Shared Skill Tree.
