The Front: How to Get Fiber

The Front is a new Survival Open-World game where players have been sent back in time to stop the rise of a tyrannical empire. There are various enemy types in the world of the Front that players will encounter in their playthrough. All players will start with nothing and they will have to first make their starting outpost and complete main missions to progress into the main story. One of the most useful resources that players must gather from the beginning is Fiber.

How to Get Fiber in The Front

Fiber is one of the most useful resources in The Front and all players will have to get it for various crafting recipes as well as for the Territory Flag to keep repairing the durability of all the structures in the range of the territory flag. As crafting recipes is required for both the betterment of the outpost as well as progress in the main story, players will be able to get Fiber through various means.

• Forage Bushes
• Forage Ferns
• Cutting Trees

Foraging the Bushes and Ferns is the basic method way to get fiber in the Front as it does not require any kind of tool. You just have to go near the bushes and ferns and interact with them by pressing the F key to pick them up. Bushes can be found easily on the Northern and Eastern sides of the world map and are harder to locate in the desert region. It does not matter at which spawn point players start their adventure, they will be able to find several bushes at the starting area which will help them in their progression.

Ferns are a bit harder to locate than bushes but they give the most fiber on foraging so, keep your eyes peeled whenever walking through the forest to find ferns on the ground. Forage them to get a decent amount of Fiber in one forage. Lastly, you can also get fiber from cutting the trees. However, trees do not give a high amount of fiber but if you are in need of a small amount and there is no bush or fern around, then feel free to cut down the tree to get the fiber.

Keep in mind that you need at least a Stone Axe to cut down the tree so craft the necessary starting tools early in the game to get as many resources as you can.
