Playing as a Victim in The Texas Chain Saw Massacre can be extremely difficult if players are neglecting the items in their surroundings. The victims not only have to escape the facility of blood-hungry family in a fury but they can take their time and explore the surroundings to find useful items. One of the most useful items in the game is Bone Scrap which can be used as a weapon to stun the family characters or cut down the Bone Traps placed by Hitchhiker.

How to Get Bone Scrap in The Texas Chain Saw Massacre

Bone Scrap can be obtained by searching the Bone Piles in the Basement area of each map. As each victim will start in the Basement area, they can find useful items like Unlock Tool for picking the lock and as they explore the basement area, they will find several Bone Piles on the ground that can be searched. By getting close to a Bone Pile, a prompt will appear on the screen and players can press the interaction button to start searching the Bone Pile. Players will have to press the prompted button on-screen repeatedly until the meter fills up.

However, players will also have to keep their eye on the sound meter which will fill up as players press the button. If the sound meter fills up, the Bone Pile will make a loud noise which will reveal the current location of the players to Family characters. Try to loot the Bone Pile stealthily and store it in your inventory. Players can store up to 2 Bone Scraps at a time in their inventory.

Where to Use Bone Scrap in The Texas Chain Saw Massacre

Bone Scrap can be used in multiple scenarios during gameplay. The first and foremost use of Bone Scrap is to get out alive from the encounter with one of the family characters. If you get attacked by a family character and you have a Bone Scrap, it will start a mashing mini-game in which both the players will have to mash the button simultaneously. If the victim wins, it will allow the victim to use the Bone Scrap to stun the family character for a short period. Alternatively, victims can also use the Bone Scrap to strike a family character from behind which will allow them to stun the family character for a longer period.

While the family character is stunned, victims can escape the family character or they can complete their tasks to make an escape from the facility. Victims can also use the Bone Scrap to attack Grandpa which will lower the effect of abilities of Grandpa and make it difficult for the Family characters to locate victims.
