How to Get a Shovel in Thief Simulator 2

The shovel is one of the late-game tools that you will get to buy once you have made a decent amount of money and progressed into the main story. To get the Shovel, you need to buy it from the Stealgear app on the computer in the Hideout. Buying the Shovel will cost you $2,500 which is a lot but it will be worth it as it can help you dig various buried items scattered around the map.

How to Use a Shovel in Thief Simulator 2

After buying the shovel, it will be added to your tool wheel which you can access by holding the Q Button. To use the shovel, you need to find the shovel spots on the map. If you explore the map, you will see several shovel icons on the map. In fact, there is one at your Hideout as well which you can dig to find a chest in which you can find a USB drive and a Note containing a parcel code.

You need to simply go to the shovel icon location and interact with it by pressing the E button to start digging to find the items and valuables. It does not require any additional actions to dig out the items.
