Glass Cutter allows you to cut through the window glass to enter or exit from a closed window of the house. The glass cutter is one of the late-game tools that you will get to buy once you have made a decent amount of money and progressed into the main story. To get the Glass cutter, you need to buy it from the Stealgear app on the computer in the Hideout. Buying the Glass cutter will cost you $1,500 which is a lot but it will be worth it as it can help you get in and out of secured houses easily.

How to Use Glass Cutter in Thief Simulator 2

After buying the glass cutter, it will be added to your tool wheel which you can access by holding the Q Button. To use the glass cutter, you need to go to a closed window of the house and interact with it by pressing the E Button. It will begin a short mini-game of cutting the glass in which you have to hold the LMB and rotate the mouse in a circle a few times to cut the glass. Once the glass has been cut, you will be able to open the window and go in and out of it.

Keep in mind that cutting the window will also require a certain level of Lockpicking skill so, make sure that you have learned the required level of skill as well to cut the glass successfully.
