Thief Simulator 2: How to Unlock & Call Associate

Robbing houses with higher security protocols can be difficult for a solo thief as it requires multiple precautions of removing the security protocols before looting the goodies. However, it can be made easy if you have an associate with you that does exactly what you say. Fortunately, you can have your associate in Thief Simulator 2 but first, you have to unlock her.

Here’s everything you need to know about how to unlock and call an associate in Thief Simulator 2.

How to Unlock Associate in Thief Simulator 2

To unlock the associate in Thief Simulator 2, you have to progress through the earlier main missions of the game in story mode until the Private Number tells you to get arrested. Once you are arrested on purpose for the mission, there will be another thief in the jail cell that you need to free and escape with. You need to break out of jail with the associate so, make sure that you have the Lockpicking Level 2 skill learned to get out of jail.

How to Call Associate in Thief Simulator 2

Once you have broken out of jail with an associate, you will unlock the ability to call the associate whenever you want but for $100. To call the associate, pull out your phone by pressing the Up Arrow Key and use the Mouse Wheel to navigate to Associate (Heart icon) to call her. After calling the associate, it will take a minute for her to get to you and when she arrives, you will be able to order her with the following tasks by interacting with her.

• Lockpicking
• Carry heavy items to your car
• Mark tenants
• Call off pursuit, reduces one police star
• Send Away

Each action costs an Action Point and initially, the associate can only do 2 actions per session. When you interact with the associate, you can see the remaining actions above all the action symbols. The best way to utilize your associate is to first scan the house you want to loot, get all the possible information about the house, and then order her accordingly to get all the possible loot.

As you progress further into your stealing endeavor, you can remove the cost of calling the associate. If you steal 20 big items and 300 items overall, associate invite costs will turn to $0. You can track your stealing progression in the Stolen Rewards app on your computer at the Hideout.
