Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty – How to Defeat Fengxi

There are various bosses that players will get to encounter throughout the main story of the game. One of the bosses that players will get to encounter in the game is Fengxi. Fengxi is an animal monster that you will have to fight in order to save a companion named “Hong Jing”.

Defeating Fengxi

Fengxi is a 20 morale Rank boss who will charge against you from time to time in the fight. The best way to deal damage to Fengxi is by staying in front of the fire stands in the arena and when it comes charging near you, dodge away. It will hit the fire which will deal damage to it overtime. You can also inflict it with your fire spells and poison spells to deal damage overtime.

Fengxi has charging attacks and ground effect attacks that you will have to deflect but the ground effect attack is a bit tricky to deflect because it comes down a bit late and if you press the dodge button early, you will not be able to deflect it. The best way to avoid it is to dodge it by pressing the dodge button twice.

It has two Critical Blow attacks that you will have to deflect because they cannot be simply blocked. One of its Critical Blow is while charging and when you see its color turning red, let it comes toward you and then press the dodge button to deflect it and punish it with the Fatal Strikes. The other one is when it will stand on its hooves. When you see it getting closer, press the dodge button to deflect this attack as well and punish it with the Fatal Strikes.

Fatal Strikes will break its posture and will give you the advantage to deal maximum damage to it. You can also use the Divine Beast in the fight from time to time to protect yourself as well as deal damage to Fengxi.
