Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty – How to Defeat Lu Bu

As players progress through the game, they will get to encounter a boss named “Lu Bu” in the mission “The Battle of Hulaoguan Pass”. Lu Bu is one of the difficult early bosses that you will get to fight as he fights on his horse and on his own as well. Players will have to get him off of his horse to defeat him.
In this guide, we’ll tell you how to defeat Lu Bu in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty.
Equipment To Use
Lu Bu is one of the Tank bosses in the game that you will get to fight. You will have to break his Posture two times in order to do the animation with Fatal Strike. The best early weapon to quickly break his posture is Iron Spetum and any Dual Swords. You can use their Martial Arts to deal more damage.
Lu Bu also uses Fire element on his weapon to deal fire damage to you so, in order to deal more damage with your weapons, you can use Lightning Weapon against him. Use Water and Metal Spells to counter his fire element damage. Make sure to use the Divine Beast from time to time to deal damage to Lu Bu.
Defeating Lu Bu
At the start, Lu Bu will fight you while on the Horse. You will have to break his Posture to get him off of the horse. In order to do that, you will have to deflect both of his Critical Blows. One of his Critical Blows is when he jumps up in the air with the horse and the other one is when he charges toward you with the Horse.
Press the Dodge button to deflect both of them and make sure to block the rest of his attacks so his negative Spirit does not go up. You will have to deflect around 3 Critical Blows until you break his posture. Once the Posture is broken, he will fall from the horse. Now, you need to deflect his two more Critical Blows in order to break his Posture and strike with Fatal Strikes.
His Horse will run in circle in the battle area so try to stay in the middle or on the side from the horse. Lu Bu will use fire element on his weapon so at this point, you can also use the Lightning Weapon spell on your weapon to deal more damage to him. You need to block his normal attacks and when he does the Critical Blow, deflect it and then hit him with the Fatal Strikes to break his posture.
Once you have break his Posture, hit him with the Fatal Strike again to go into an animation. After that, he will get on his horse again. Now, he will get a bit more aggressive but his moves will remain the same. You will have to repeat the process of deflecting his both Critical Blows and falling him off of the horse.

The fight is not that hard but it is just a bit long due to breaking his posture for two times for a single animation Fatal Strike. You will adjust to his moves very quickly and you just have to wait for him to do the Critical Blows to break his posture. Other than that, you can dodge and block almost all of his attacks.
