Salvage Feature

As players progress through the story of the game and clear the mission stages, they will get different equipment items. The Equipment Items can be upgraded by interacting with the Blacksmith but it does require the Materials. Materials can be found by looting the shining items on the floor but there is also another way to get the required materials for your weapons and armor.

In this guide, we’ll tell you how to Salvage Equipment in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty.

Unlock Salvage Feature

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty has a Salvage Feature that let players dismantle the weapons and armor that they no longer use. Players in the early game will not have the idea of dismantling the weapons but it is far more useful than selling the weapons and armor.

After unlocking Blacksmith, you will have to complete a couple of more missions until you reach a location named “Hidden Village”. In the Hidden Village, you will find Blacksmith on the right side of the Battle Flag. When you talk to the Blacksmith, you will unlock new features and one of them will be “Salvage”.

Salvaging Equipment

Once you have unlocked Salvage Feature, you will be able to dismantle the equipment items that you no longer need. All the Weapons and Armor contain certain Materials that can be gained after dismantling them. Later, you can use these materials to upgrade the weapons and armor that you need for the journey.

In order to Salvage an Equipment Item, follow the following steps.

  • Talk to Blacksmith to open the menu.
  • Select the Salvage Feature.
  • Switch to Items and select the one you want to dismantle.
  • Hold the interaction button to dismantle or press it once and then select the Salvage option to dismantle.
Dismantling Equipment item

By dismantling an item, you will get Materials named “Jewel Fragment” along with Steel and Leather. You can see the Materials on the right side of the screen and after dismantling them, they will be added to your inventory.
