Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty – How to Upgrade Equipment

As players progress through the game and defeat enemies, they will gain a number of weapons and armors. Each of them has different stats and attack bonuses that depends on the nature of weapon. You will always get to change your equipment in the inventory but the best way to choose an equipment is by selecting the one that has bonuses relevant to your character build and then start upgrading that equipment for maximum output.

In this guide, we’ll tell you how to upgrade equipment in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty.

Unlock Blacksmith

In order to upgrade the equipment, players will have to unlock the Blacksmith named “Zhu Xia”. Zhu Xia is a traveling Blacksmith who can be found right after the boss fight of Zhuyan in the first main mission of the game. After defeating Zhuyan, go ahead from the Battle Flag and you will see a ledge on which you can climb. Jump on the ledge to find Zhu Xia. You need to talk to her and you will be able to upgrade your equipment from her.

Upgrading Equipment in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty

To upgrade a weapon or armor, you will be required Coppers and Materials. Coppers is Upgrade cost for the item you want to upgrade and the Materials are certain resources that you will have to get for that item. You cannot upgrade the item without Materials.

You will also find a Material named “Rank 1 Steel” near Zhu Xia. Steel is mainly used to upgrade the weapons and you will be able to upgrade one of your weapon with the Steel Material. You can also find Leather Material of Different Rank that can be used to upgrade your armor.

You can upgrade your equipment by the following steps.

• Talk to Zhu Xia to see the options.
• Select the Upgrade options to see all of the equipment.
• Switch to the category in which you want to upgrade an item.
• Select the item and then select the “Upgrade” options to upgrade it.

After upgrading an item, you will see +1 under that name of that item in your inventory.
