Diablo immortal: 10 key things to keep in mind while playing
Diablo Immortal is the new game in the Diablo franchise. If there are any new players to the Diablo games, this is a guide about common mistakes you can make as a new player so that you won’t make them when the game launches. So, we have a list of 10 different points that you should pay some attention to when the game comes. It mostly comes down to the overall strategy of how to progress. So that you don’t waste your time and you go through the game smoothly.
Auto-Pickup Loot
The first is that you want to turn on auto pickup and you want to collect all the loot that you can get at all times. So, whenever you see an item drop even with some trash a wide quality item you want to pick it up because it will be important later on for upgrading your gear. This is one of the main things to progress on in the diablo model.
How to Use Health Potions
when you progress through the campaign on your first character you want to make sure that you don’t waste too much time-fighting enemies. In general, the game is not super hard-on from a PvE standpoint. But you can speed things up if you play well and if you use the tools available to you properly. One of them is the healing potion as you can see here on the right you have three healing potions at a time and they refill as you defeat enemies. You can use these as an offensive resource.
Check Updates Regularly
Equip new items regularly this applies especially early on and as you’re progressing through the campaign because you will regularly find pretty big upgrades. And you want to check your inventory for these green arrows. So, you can see the damage values rise fairly quickly early on. But it will slow down eventually to a crawl once you approach the end game and once, they have legendary items in every slot.
Reap Battle Pass Rewards at the right time
Don’t turn in your battle pass quest rewards too early. When you play through the game you will have certain achievements that you unlock over time and there is this little red flashing icon here enticing you to click on it and turn in those rewards.
Don’t Skip Immortal Day
The tip is to don’t skip Diablo immortal day so there is a system in place that rewards you very strongly for playing just a tiny bit every single day which is the free daily reward. You gain that on killing the first enemy. There’s a thing of literally 20 seconds logging into the game getting one enemy done and you get this data reward. so, the rewards change around depending on the week and the day but it is definitely by far the most valuable reward in terms of time spent versus what you gain.
Only One Character
Don’t make more than one character so you do have multiple character slots. You can create multiple characters and maybe you want to do that very early on to get a little bit of a feel for the class try it out and just see how it is but realistically. You’re gonna have one main character that you’re gonna progress on and this is it. There’s no point in trying to grind up multiple characters and have alls and swap around between them because there is a class change feature that blizzard has announced that will come shortly after immortal release.

Spend Resources Widely
Don’t waste your precious resources. When you play diablo immortal there are a few different currencies that you obtain over time either from playing the game or from the shop. So, for example, there’s gold which is used for mainly creating clients or for gambling items and also for trading in the marketplace. Then there’s platinum which is kind of rare but you can use this for buying items at the marketplace, for example, legendary gems and there are also eternal orbs that mainly are acquired from the in-game shop.
Open World Content is Important
Go out in the open world and explore and do events as much as possible. So, this is not exactly like in diablo 3 where you just run rifts all day long. There are similar systems to greater rifts in the diablo model but they’re not like the main system that you grind all the time. Instead, a lot of rewards are located either in instance dungeons which are the same layout and the same run every single time.
Group up Wherever Possible
Don’t play alone so this applies especially to most of the end-game rewards and in-game systems. After you have progressed through the campaign after you have finished all the initiation quests. You want to make sure that you do all the end game content at least where you can with a party. This just makes things easier faster and smoother and usually, you have some kind of find group button for example for dungeons and in some cases, you can also share certain rewards.
Always farm easy Content
Don’t bash your head into the wall against very difficult content. There is a lot of scaling potential in diablo immortal with how far your character can go and just how far you can progress. There are these challenge rifts that are very comparable to the other three greater rift levels where it just becomes harder and harder every single time.
