Using the Scanner

The main Protagonist has a futuristic Glove that holds very unique abilities and players will get to know about the abilities as they progress through the main story of the game. One of the abilities that you will get to use from the start of the game is scanning. Scanning will help you see things clearer and will tell you about useful items as well as cautious items.

In order to use the Scanner, you will have to press the R1 button twice and then hold it to scan the area. If you are on the XBOX series then you will have to press the RB button twice and then hold it down. If you are on a PC then you only have to hold down the Left ALT Button to scan the area.

Scanning the areas throughout the game will help you find the consumables and resources hidden in different places. Resources are very important in this game as they can be used to craft weapons, ammo, and consumables. You will be able to see the enemies that are waiting for you on the other side of the wall. It could also help you locate the mission items such as different keys or help you solve a puzzle.
