Lethal Company: How to Get & Use Jetpack

Lethal Company - Jetpack

Lethal Company offers several tools for players each use for its unique purpose that can be helpful regarding the raid in the facility. Raiding the facilities can be atrocious due to several monster encounters and traps as well as navigating back to the ship as several monsters who wander the moon might stop you from reaching the ship. However, the navigation ability can be enhanced by using a Jetpack as it allows your character to fly for a short bit but it can make a difference in escaping a monster.

In this guide, we’ll go over how to get and use the Jetpack in Lethal Company.

How to Get the Jetpack in Lethal Company

The Jetpack is one of the tools that players can buy from the Store for 700 Credits in Lethal Company which is the most expensive tool in the game. To buy the Jetpack, follow the following steps.

  • Interact with the terminal on the ship.
  • Type the ‘Store’ command to view all the tools.
  • Type the ‘Buy Jetpack’ or ‘Jetpack’ command and then type the ‘Confirm’ to place the order.
  • Wait for the pod to land on the moon near the ship.
  • Go to the pod to retrieve the Jetpack.

The pod can take a couple of minutes to land so, wait patiently and once it has landed, go near it to get the Jetpack.

How to Use the Jetpack in Lethal Company

The usage of Jetpack is very minimal as players can only use it to reach higher grounds that aren’t very high. It is because the thrusters of the Jetpack heat up quickly and overusing the Jetpack will cause the thrusters to explode which will lead to death. The maximum time for which players can use the Jetpack is only 5 seconds and after 5 seconds, the thrusters will explode. However, the mechanics of using the jetpack are very simple. Scroll the Mouse Wheel to equip the Jetpack and then press the LMB to activate the thrusters. Once the thrusters are activated, press and hold the Spacebar key to fly up or use the movement keys to fly freely.

Keep in mind that you will only get 5 seconds as you start moving or going up so, make sure to let go of the Spacebar key to prevent the thrusters from exploding so, you can continue the flying endeavor. The Jetpack also runs on battery which will deplete depending on how you use it so, make sure to charge it as well.
