Making money is one of the main aspects of Thief Simulator 2 as you would need it to buy useful tools for both burglary and theft or you want to pay back half a million dollars to Lombardis (Story Mode). Either way, money is important and there are various ways to make a lot of money aside from stealing small items from the houses.

How to Earn Money Fast in Thief Simulator 2

Earning money early in the game would feel a slow rate because mostly you will steal small items and sell them directly at the pawnshop. However, there are some other tasks as well which you can do to start earning more money as well as XP which will help you level up quickly. To start earning money quickly in Thief Simulator 2, you need to do the following tasks.

• Sell Wanted Items on Blackbay
• Complete Hell Neighbour missions
• Complete Thief Contract missions
• Do Heists

The first three methods can be started from the early hours of your playthrough which will help you make extra money and earn extra XP while doing theft endeavors. For the Heist method, you need to at least reach Level 9 on your character before you start doing heists.

Sell Wanted Items on Blackbay

Blackbay is a black market on the Dark Browser which you can access via your computer at the Hideout. It has five different categories for items that it requires and pays much more than the local pawnshop.

• Kitchen
• Electronics
• Valuables
• Others
• Car parts

When you steal related category items from the houses, some items will have a green wallet symbol in front of them which indicates that the item is wanted at Blackbay. You can leave it in your backpack and go back to the Hideout to sell it for more money.

Complete Hell Neighbour Missions

Apart from selling items, you can start doing missions for Hell Neighbour. You can find the Hell Neighbour app on the computer and it offers four different kinds of missions to certain residences.

• Destroy/Steal
• Assault
• Plant Evidence
• Photograph

Each mission type will give you a certain task for a specific residence and earn $250 – $500 easily by completing a simple task along with XP. You can track the missions as well from the Notes tab in the menu.

Complete Thief Contract Missions

Thief Contract is also found on the computer in the Hideout and it will let you activate a contract one at a time. The requirements of completing the contract are based on your progression, earning a certain amount of money, stealing a specific item/Big item from a specific residence, etc. By completing these requirements, you will complete the contract and you can earn $250 – $1,000 easily.

However, the Thief Contract has a reputation level, and completing each contract will also gain you reputation points. By reaching the threshold of the reputation level, you will be advanced to the next level allowing you to activate higher-level contracts that offer more money.

Heists

For the final and the most rewarding but difficult at times method, heist, you can start from the whiteboard in your bedroom at the Hideout. Each heist will require certain tools and skills for you to start the heist. Every heist has several objectives and you need to complete all of them to gain the maximum outcome.

The very first heist in Thief Simulator 2, Forestside Resort will give you a profit of $19,950 so, it is the fastest way to earn money but certainly not the easiest one.
