There are various skills in Thief Simulator 2 for you to unlock which give you access to new burglary-related, theft, and tenant mechanics. How to Unlock Skills in Thief Simulator 2

Skills are unlocked from the Skills tab in the inventory. Press the Tab Button to open the inventory and direct to the Skills tab to view a skill tree containing three different skill types, Common, Rare, and Epic. Common and Rare are the ones that can be learned easily by having the required Level and Skill Points whereas, some of the Epic Skills require Special Points along with the required level. To gain the Skill Points, you will have to level up the character. Each level up will grant you 1 Skill Point which can be spent on one of the learnable skills or can be saved for higher-level skills.

Most of the skills also have multiple levels to it which will grant you further bonuses regarding the skill. For instance, having a higher level of Agility Skill will allow you to climb various walls and run faster for longer periods. However, higher-level skills require more than 1 Skill Point and a certain level so, if you are leveling up your character quickly, you will frequently get Skill Points which allow you to learn more advanced skills.

The story mode of the game will require certain skills to complete the main objectives so, it is a great way to learn which skills are important and you can run those same skills in the Free Mode to loot as many things as you want to both level up and earn money at the same time.
