We Were Here Forever is a Co-op adventure game where you and your friend have to play throughout the game by helping each other with different puzzles and progressing together. This whole game is about teamwork and communicating with each other to keep things clearer because you do want to tell your partner what you see and what can he do.

How to Solve Jester’s Toybox Puzzle

Both of the players have been put inside the Toybox and will spawn on different sides inside the Toybox. There’ll be platforms with different symbols on each side. The symbols are Hearts, Clubs, Diamonds, and Spades. You have to look for switches with these symbols and it should lower the bridges on another side for the player. Both of the players have to communicate through this puzzle and tell each other when to press the switch to lower the bridge and move on.

Let’s assume that player 1 will be the one who spawns on door 1 and player 2 will be the one who spawns on door 5. Player 1 has to go through door 1 and will come out of a different area and would find a switch with a Heart symbol. Player 2 will go through door 5 and would need player 1 to drop the bridge by using the switch so, player 1 would press the switch, and player 2 can move to door 6 and would find a club switch.

Now player 2 has to use the club switch so that player 1 can cross door 2 then use the clubs switch again to keep lowering the bridge for player 1 so that he can get to the diamond switch. Once player1 is at the diamond switch, use the club switch one more time and go through door 6 to reach door 8. Go through door 8. Player 1 will have to use the diamond switch then the club switch and then again, the diamond switch to make a path for player 2 to get to door 9.

Player 2 has to come down to door 6 because player 1 has to go through door 3 and there’ll be a new path that can be opened by the club switch outside door 6. So, player 1 has to use the diamond and club switch so that player 2 can reach door 6 then player 2 has to use the club switch which reveals the new area, and player 1 can go through there and will fill a Spade switch. Now player 2 has to return to door 9 and pass through it, now player 1 will use the spade switch and player 2 will reach the middle platform then player 1 will need to use the spade switch again so that player 2 can reach the end of the level.

Player 1 can go through door 4 past the switch and can reach the end of the level.
