Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon – How to Upgrade Skills and Abilities

Players will get to control two main characters in Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon, Cereza and Cheshire. Both of the characters have skills and abilities that will be used throughout the journey to progress in the story. However, there are various skills and abilities that players can upgrade to change the playstyle of the game.

In this guide, we’ll tell you how to upgrade Skills and Abilities in Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon.

Upgrade Skills and Abilities of Characters

You can upgrade both characters’ Skills and Upgrades at the Sanctuary. However, you would still have to progress ahead in the main story before you learn how to upgrade the skills and abilities of the characters. You will have to progress to Chapter 3: The First Elemental Core in which you will get taught how to upgrade skills by Cereza’s teacher named “Morgana”.

Once you have learned how to upgrade your skills and abilities, you need to go to the shiny rock right next to the unlocked Sanctuary. Interact with the Rock by pressing L and you will open up the Skills Menu. There will be Two Trees on the menu and one of them is Cereza’s (Left One) and one of them will be Cheshire’s (Right One).

If you want to upgrade a skill of Cheshire, it will consume Avalon Drops and if you want to upgrade a skill of Cereza, it will consume Onyx Roses. Your collected materials will be shown on the right side of the screen so, you can have an idea of how many skills and abilities you can upgrade. To upgrade the skill, you just have to move the cursor with the Left Stick and then learn the skill by holding down the A Button. It will consume a particular number of resources from your inventory and you will also get to test some of the skills.
