CD Projekt Red starts processing refund requests for various versions of Cyberpunk 2077

According to the players, the email sent by CD Projekt RED contains a unique refund request number for Cyberpunk 2077, after filling and sending which the user will not be able to send it again. In this regard, the developers from CDPR ask you to responsibly and carefully treat the data that you need to enter. The refund application form must be completed by January 10, 2021.

However, the studio allowed only the disc versions of Cyberpunk 2077 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. If you select a refund for digital versions of games for consoles, the user is redirected to the respective platform holder’s store, i.e. the Microsoft Store or PS Store.

CD Projekt RED has been collecting refund requests for copies of Cyberpunk 2077 purchased from retail stores through December 21st. The Polish studio noted that, if necessary, it will return the money “from its own pocket.”

Sony, a week after the release of Cyberpunk 2077, took it off the PS Store and opened a special page in its store for refunds for digital versions of the game. Microsoft hasn’t removed Cyberpunk 2077 from its store but has promised to expand its return policy for all Xbox game owners.

Cyberpunk 2077 was released on December 10, 2020. Immediately after the release, players began to massively complain about numerous bugs, glitches, and performance issues in the game on the base PS4 and Xbox One.

Since then, CDPR has released interim patches 1.04 and 1.05 for all platforms and announced that it will release two major patches in January and February 2021.

I enjoy playing games, and gaming is a passion of mine. Among my favorite games are Tears of the Kingdom, GTA, and Cyberpunk.
